Time. There never seems to be enough of it. I have a couple of new posts started. But that is just it, they are only started. I have thoughts I want to share, but I haven’t been able to make them coherent enough to share.
I know I should be trying to post at least once a week, but these last few weeks it has been difficult to even think, let alone sit down to write.
First up College Orientation, then Graduation. Days later a family trip to our nation’s capital for Dad’s burial at Arlington National Cemetery (a post in the making).
My sister and I had been paying to have “momentoes” from Mom and Dad stored. You know, storing stuff gets expensive! We have been paying almost a year to keep these things. We needed to stop the money drain. After much discussion, we needed to make a decision on how to transport the items.
Finally, I said CK and I would rent a van, load it up with everything in storage and drive it home. It was only 1450 miles. CK was needless to say “thrilled” with the idea of driving with his mother, for 2 solid days. The local nephews helped load the van and we were off.
I wish I could say that there was all kinds of excitement…but there really was none. The only thing of note, was EVERY time CK started to take over driving to give me a break, it poured down rain! I’m not talking a shower, it was a blinding, you can’t see the cars on the road, turn on the hazards, slow down to 25 mph rain! At least I got a break. Not the “I can nap break”, but a break none the less.
We arrived home about 10pm. In the morning van returned and back to work. Summertime retail in full swing! Got to love it. I’m back on the merry-go-round!

Time goes fast….no matter what we do there is never enough time. I think that making the most of it is crucial and not beating ourselves for the things we have not done or started and left halfway.
I find that giving yourself time is the hardest…my struggle.
Don’t miss the craziness just you guys.

Exactly Erika! At some point you need to just let it go. If it gets done, great…if not there is a possibility it will be finished tomorrow, or not.?
